You don’t need to be a dance expert. You don’t need a huge social media following. You just need to be enthusiastic about the arts and social media literate. 

We’re interested in people who are arts activated, engaged and connected to their communities, and willing to share what they experience. 

Selected BWDC Arts Activators will receive two complimentary passes to BWDC’s 48th season, inviting you to experience the work alongside a friend or guest. In return, we’ll ask you to help activate conversation around the season: sharing performances, talking about what you saw, creating online content in your own voice, and helping introduce BWDC to people we might not otherwise reach.

This is a great opportunity for emerging artists, arts workers, students and content creators to build experience in cultural advocacy and content creation while becoming more connected to Edmonton’s arts community. Those seeking a career and/or more experience in the arts industry will receive a reference letter on successful completion of the program. 

Arts organizations have always depended on community. What that community support looks like is evolving, and we want to evolve with it.

If you believe Edmonton is a better city when people show up for its artists, talk about their work, bring their friends, and help cultural experiences travel beyond the walls of a theatre, we would love to have you involved.
