Tiffany Leung
Tiffany started breaking after witnessing a B-girl throw down footwork in 2013, during her first year at university. She instantly fell in love with the powerful and expressive movement and has since immersed herself in street dance culture. Drawing on her background as a competitive gymnast, she has landed on the sweet spot between expression and execution, fluidly integrating the athleticism of gymnastics with the creative elements of street dance. She is also influenced by different styles including House and Waacking. With a focus on form and execution, Tiffany naturally gravitates towards more acrobatic movements and an explosive style.
Tiffany has entered competitions across Canada, notably winning KeepRockinYou’s Bonnie and Clyde, Toronto in 2019, 1v1 B-girl Steal the Scene Jam, Kingston in 2016 and KeepRockinYou’s 3v3 Generation Battle [past, present, and future], Toronto in 2015. Tiffany is currently ranked in the top eight B-girl Red Bull E-battles.
Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Computing (BCS), Honors, in Cognitive Science from Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario and is currently working as an Artificial Intelligence Sr. Consultant at Deloitte. Tiffany represents the all-female Kuru Crew based in Toronto. She plans to share her style and immerse herself in other dance cultures by traveling and competing at an international level.
