PRODUCER/INTERPRETER

Krista Lin is an Edmonton-based, contemporary dance artist. She has created and performed work for the main stage, independent stage, fringe festivals, musicals, and fundraisers. A graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Krista has studied with renowned instructors in Israel, Taiwan, Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, and Edmonton. Krista has performed across the country in works by Pam Tzeng, Matt Mackenzie, Justine Chambers, Mile Zero Dance, and Susie Burpee, among others. She co-founded The Creative Republic Artist Collective with Jasmine Graham producing This is Dance in 2011, a curated selection of six emerging Toronto choreographers. Krista created, “in the key of eh”, her humourous Canadiana solo, in 2013, and continues to perform versions at schools and festivals. As a choreographer and dance instructor, Krista is an advocate of educating minds through movement, teaching dance in public schools and private institutions. She has taught outreach workshops in Ontario, Alberta and Taiwan. With a diploma in Arts and Cultural Management from MacEwan University, Krista is an arts manager and arts advocate.
