JULIAN BEAIRSTO

APPRENTICE

Originally from Whitehorse, Yukon, Julian studied in Switzerland at the Zurich University of the Arts. He was exposed to a wide range of choreographers including Nadav Zelner, Ihsan Rustem and Neel Verdoorn. These choreographers, through guidance and patience, helped him to develop a wide and rich movement vocabulary embodying technique, musicality, and character.

While studying, he also got the opportunity to work with both Tanz Theatre St Gallen under the direction of Kinsun Chan and Dancing Outside of the Suzanne Dellal Centre under the direction of Naomi Perlov.
