Ariana Barr

Dancer

Raised in Victoria, BC, Ariana began her ballet training at the Pacific Dance Centre. She went on to study nationally and internationally, with the Nederlands Dans Theater, École supérieure de ballet du Québec, the Arts Umbrella Graduate Program and the Performance Research Project. Throughout her training, Ariana has had the pleasure of performing works by Rachel McNamee, Sharon Eyal, Marie Chouinard, Crystal Pite, Mats Ek, Aszure Barton and Fernando Hernando Magadan, amongst others.

During her career, Ariana has performed with Vancouver-based companies such as Inverso Productions, Vision Impure and Joshua Beamish/MOVE THE COMPANY. Ariana then went on to Alberta where she has been dancing as a proud member of Ballet Edmonton for the past five seasons under the artistic direction of Wen Wei Wang.
